Russell Seymour was named the Director of Economic Development for the Town of Leesburg in November of 2017. Seymour has over 20 years of experience working in the field of Economic Development, including serving as the Director of Economic Development in James City County, Virginia and in Spotsylvania County, Virginia and as the Vice President of the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Seymour holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Akron and a bachelor’s in economics and finance from Christopher Newport University.
