President/CEO, Potomac Bancshares & Bank of Charles Town
Alice P. Frazier is President and CEO of Potomac Bancshares, Inc. (OTC:PTBS) and Bank of Charles Town, also known as The Community’s Bank. She joined in July 2017. Since that time, the company has grown from $411 million in total assets to $485 million as of December 31, 2018, or 16%. Additionally, the bank has most recently expanded its presence in Loudoun County with offices in Middleburg, Purcellville and its Leesburg banking office opening in April 2019.
Ms. Frazier has 28 years of banking experience. Prior to BCT, she most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Cardinal Financial Corporation. During her tenure, Cardinal grew from $1.8 billion in total assets to over $4.0 billion, with 30 banking offices serving the Washington, DC metropolitan market. Before Cardinal, Ms. Frazier served as Senior Vice President, Area Executive for BB&T, focusing on Northern Virginia and the Loudoun County market, one of the nation’s wealthiest and fastest growing counties.
Ms. Frazier began her banking career with Middleburg Financial Corporation in 1991, first serving as Chief Financial Officer and culminating as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, she worked four years in public accounting with both a national and regional firm.
Active in the community, Ms. Frazier serves on the CEO Cabinet of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors for WVU Berkeley Hospital Foundation, and is a member of Women Investing in Shepherd University. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, Loudoun Education Foundation, and Loudoun Volunteer Rescue Squad Finance Committee. Ms. Frazier currently serves as Secretary for Independent Community Bankers Association. She is a past Chairperson of the Virginia Association of Community Banks.
Ms. Frazier and her family are residents of Loudoun County, Virginia. She is a graduate of Radford University and Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
